The interplay between gesture, prosody and information status in dyadic speech
This project is part of my ongoing collaboration with the Collaborative Research Center (“Prominence in Language”, ref. 1252) at the University of Cologne. We investigate how multimodal cues (hand and head gestures, and prosody) are used to mark information status in dyadic speech by directly comparing autistic and non-autistic dyads.
